«Sols el poble salva al poble» (Only the people save the people) documents the night-time demonstrations that broke out in Valencia on 28 October, in protest at the poor management of the DANA (Isolated High Level Depression) that devastated the zone. The series captures the energy and emotion of the citizens who rose up in a collective cry for justice, illuminated by the city lights and the palpable desperation in the air. Through evocative images, this photographic series aims to delve into the strength of the people, who show themselves united and resilient under the dark night. The slogan, «Sols el poble salva al poble», resonates as an echo of hope and struggle, reminding us that, in times of crisis, the only real response is the solidarity of those who suffer the consequences first-hand.
